From the moment I arrived, the cozy atmosphere stood out. The space feels welcoming without being overwhelming, making it a great choice whether you are stopping by for a quick meal, enjoying solo dining, or meeting up with groups of friends and family.

One of the highlights of the menu is the Aka Ramen. Rich, flavorful, and comforting, it offers the kind of experience ramen lovers often look for when visiting a dedicated ramen restaurant. The broth and noodles work together beautifully, creating a balanced dish that keeps guests coming back. Another menu item that caught my attention was the Kuroda Bento Healthy Set. It provides a satisfying combination of flavors and textures while offering a well-rounded meal option for diners who prefer variety on a single plate.

For guests who enjoy combination meals, the Katsu Don Set with Shiro Ramen is a standout choice. The pairing brings together hearty rice dishes and classic ramen, making it ideal for those with a bigger appetite. Similarly, the Ramen Gyu Don Set combines comforting ramen with a flavorful beef rice bowl, creating a filling and enjoyable dining experience. The Shiro Ramen Teriyaki Pork Don Set is another excellent option, offering a delicious mix of ramen and teriyaki pork flavors that complement each other naturally.

The restaurant’s layout also adds to its appeal. Outdoor seating is available for guests who prefer a more open-air setting, while indoor seating maintains a relaxed and comfortable environment. Practical amenities such as a restroom contribute to a convenient visit, especially for diners spending time with friends or family.

What customers say?

“ Tried Ramen Kuroda again and we went for the set meals (most sulit choice, swear!). Here’s a quick rundown: Shiro Ramen – creamy and comforting, not too salty this time which I liked. Jammy egg + charsu pork were decent too. Aka Ramen – a little spicy with that seafoody kick, noodles were nice since they make their own. Nanban Chicken – crispy fillet with soy-based sauce + Japanese tartar on cabbage. Still good, but I feel it used to be better. Spicy Chicken Karaage – surprisingly good! Juicy chicken + flavorful spicy sauce = win. Tonkatsu – thin but crispy, just okay. Beef Gyudon – tender and flavorful, but ang dami lang rice for me. Overall: Sulit and uulit pa rin! Masarap, not so expensive, and decent for the price if you’re craving ramen. Honestly feels close to the ramen I tried in Japan too. ”

“ Food & Price: The food is okay. I ordered a set meal which includes aka ramen, chicken karaage, rice. It costs below P400. The ramen is a creamy, but it tastes salty the longer you eat it. The pork slice was so delicious, I should've ordered another slice (I think it's P60 per slice). The chicken was moist and tasty. It was also a bit salty, but a drop of calamansi balances out the flavour. I also ordered orange shake for P100. I can't tell if fresh fruit was used or just powered drink. Customer Service: a solid 5 out of 5. The staff are courteous and respectful. Atmosphere: it was okay. There's a fly, mosquito, and another tiny insect. Overall, my experience was delightful. ”

“ Go to affordable ramen place We always go to Ramen Kuroda to satisfy our ramen cravings. I’m recommending the Aka Ramen for those who prefer the slight spice and the creamy savory broth. They have condiments such as chili powder and oil, sesame seeds and black pepper if you prefer a more distinct taste. Similarly, their other ramen flavors also are good tasting. You could partner the ramen with a good’ol gyoza. The gyoza has a normal taste of veg flavor and meat. We also prderd an additional chasu and egg for more protein sources. As for the customer service, they are attentive to the needs of the customers and offer service water. Take into account, they have an additional service charge. The place has a nearby pay parking. Usually, the place is packed with customers and has to wait 15-20mins in line for a seat. Overall, the quality of the ramen, with it’s affordable price and good service. ”
